About AHO! Wellness Tech
AHO! Wellness Tech is a wellness company based in Oregon, helping leaders, teams, and organizations build healthier, more sustainable ways of working. Our approach combines ancestral wisdom, behavioral science, and AI-powered tools to support Wellness-Conscious Leadership, a practical framework designed to reduce burnout, strengthen resilience, and help people lead from a more grounded, whole, and human place.
Our offerings include cohort-based wellness programs, leadership experiences, and SensAI, our AI-powered coaching companion.
About the Role
We are looking for a creative, thoughtful, and highly self-directed Social Media Intern to help shape AHO!’s digital presence across key channels. This is an opportunity to work closely with the founding team and contribute directly to how our brand, voice, and community show up online.
You will help translate AHO!’s mission into content that is clear, engaging, culturally aware, and aligned with our values. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by early-stage startups, passionate about wellness and storytelling, and excited to build meaningful work from the ground up.
This is a part-time role requiring approximately 8 to 12 hours per week. This is also a sweat equity opportunity for someone who wants to contribute meaningfully to an early-stage company and grow alongside the brand as it builds.
What You’ll Do
Help plan and maintain a social media content calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok
Create and repurpose content, including posts, carousels, short-form video, stories, captions, and light graphics
Support campaign execution tied to product updates, community programming, workshops, and launches
Engage with followers and community members in a thoughtful, brand-aligned way
Collaborate with the CEO and brand team on messaging, storytelling, and brand consistency
Track basic performance metrics and identify content patterns, audience insights, and growth opportunities
Assist with partnership, influencer, and community amplification efforts
Help capture and organize content ideas from live events, workshops, and internal initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Strong alignment with AHO!’s mission and interest in wellness, culture, leadership, and the future of work
Strong writing instincts and a good eye for content that feels clear, warm, and relevant
Comfort working independently in a fast-moving startup environment
Familiarity with major social platforms, especially Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
Basic experience with content creation and design tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar
Organized, reliable, responsive, and open to feedback
Bilingual or bicultural experience is a plus, especially Spanish-language fluency or comfort creating for multicultural audiences
Previous social media, communications, design, or marketing experience is helpful, but not required
What You’ll Gain
Direct exposure to an early-stage startup building at the intersection of wellness, leadership, and AI
Hands-on experience shaping brand voice, audience growth, and launch communications
Mentorship from AHO!’s leadership team
Portfolio-building work you can point to across content, campaigns, and brand storytelling
Closer visibility into startup strategy, wellness programming, and go-to-market execution
Opportunity to grow into a larger role as the company expands
Compensation
This role is currently structured as a sweat equity opportunity rather than a traditional paid internship or hourly position.
That means your time, creativity, and contribution will help build the company at an early stage, with the intention that strong contributors may be recognized through equity-aligned upside, expanded responsibility, and future paid opportunities as AHO! grows.
This role is best suited for someone who wants hands-on startup experience, believes in the mission, and understands the realities of joining a company in an early build phase before traditional compensation is in place.
Specific details around scope, expectations, and any future equity pathway will be discussed with final candidates during the interview process.
